Plans and permits are required if you are doing any of the following:

• Adding or Deleting a load bearing wall.
• Creating a new bathroom or bedroom
• all Additions
• replacing an existing deck or deck handrail

Please have your plans drafted in advance of seeking a remodel on new construction estimate.

Permits are not required for:

• Changing cabinets or countertops
• Replacing bathroom or lighting fixtures
• Painting
• Siding repairs
• Drywall Repairs

Highwood Construction does offer drafting services if you need help with your project plans and permit.
